People who took clopidogrel within five days of
their procedure were more likely to require red blood cell transfusions
but no more likely to require reoperation for bleeding than people who
had taken it more than five days beforehand, the study showed. One
surgeon cautions this is not a "carte blanche" for clopidogrel.
